FEMCAB: Creating A Safe Space for women in Nigeria
Understanding how this case study can evolve and be brought to life was key to how we want to roll out for the consumers. This was basically a solution to the constant abuse of women who take cabs in the Nigerian demography. We’ve been able to identify this problem and created a working solution that could help reduce or curb this problem.
User Research
Information Architecture & Wire Frames
The entire flow of the app is to be simple and friendly. We want to have the flow from the login to the cab booking services, simple and seamless. We employed friendly and exciting icons to convey what the look and feel can be for the consumer. The wireframes birthed what this look was, the user has freedom and control to what driver comes to pick her up. We prioritized how the onboarding experience can be for the consumer, the use of data collection instances was a no-brainer and key to understanding how to pan relationships with the user on the app.
Prototype
Prototype video to provide app flow idea. Simple and a friendly look and feel was the goal for this.
Key Learnings & Note
Theres still alot more to explore with FEMCAB. What if a woman had her male kid(s) or her male partner with her? How would the business thrive if it discrminates against men when they make up the greater percentage of the population in Nigeria? These are just some questions id like to expand on as i continue to work on this project. I plan to also carry out usability test to carry out feedback from users & improve on this case study
